Perimenopause & Menopause

Perimenopause and menopause are changes that take place at midlife, marked by hormonal changes and the eventual end of menstruation and the ability to bear children. The experience is different for every woman, but there are some common changes you may experience. Some symptoms are mild and some can have a real impact on quality of life. While both perimenopause and menopause are completely natural and normal, you can talk about any of the symptoms with your primary care provider, gynecologist or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).
